How Betting Works on ctg Bet — A Complete Guide from Start to Finish
From opening an account to placing a bet, reading odds to withdrawing winnings — every step on ctg Bet is explained clearly on this page.
Steps to Log In and Add Balance to Your Account
To start betting on ctg Bet, first go to the ctg Login page and sign in with your username and password. If you are a new member, fill in the registration form and complete OTP verification to activate your account.
After logging in, go to the deposit page. The minimum deposit on ctg Bet is ৳500. You can use bKash, Nagad or Rocket for payment — the same minimum amount applies to all three methods. Enter the amount, provide your mobile number and confirm the transaction; the balance will be added within a few minutes.
How to Find Markets and Read Odds
Select your preferred sport from the ctg Bet sports menu. Odds are shown in decimal format next to each match — the higher the number, the less likely the market considers that outcome to be, and the greater the return if it wins. For example:
Team A to win, stake ৳500: Decimal 3.00 = Fractional 2/1 = American +200. If it wins you get back ৳1,500 (৳1,000 profit + ৳500 stake); if it loses you lose ৳500.
Team B to win, stake ৳500: Decimal 1.80 = Fractional 4/5 = American -125. If it wins you get back ৳900 (৳400 profit).
In cricket betting, limited-overs matches generally have a two-outcome market — there is no draw. On ctg Bet's cricket betting section, markets are available for BPL, IPL, T20 World Cup and various other international tournaments; visit that page for more details.
Bet Slip — Single and Multi Bets
Clicking on any odds adds them to the bet slip automatically. A single bet has just one selection — enter your stake and the potential return is shown immediately.
Adding more than one selection switches the slip to multi (or accumulator) mode automatically — all the odds are multiplied together to produce a combined odds figure.
Decimal odds 1.40, 1.60 and 1.70 — combined odds 1.40 × 1.60 × 1.70 = 3.81 (rounded). A ৳100 stake returns ৳381, but all three selections must win — if any one loses, the entire ৳100 is lost.
The slip above is for illustration only. While multi bets offer higher returns, the risk is also higher — if any selection is wrong, the entire stake is lost.
How to Place Bets on Sports and Casino Games
In sports betting, you can choose a market before the match starts or while it is live. Odds change during a match, so check the odds shown on the slip before confirming your bet.
In casino games, you set your stake before each round or spin. In slot games the stake is set before you press the spin button; at live tables, you select a chip and place it in the designated area to confirm your bet. A full list of live dealer, slot and table games is available in ctg Bet's casino section.
Treat casino betting as entertainment — each round is independent and previous results have no effect on the next spin or card.
Betting Exchange — Back and Lay Bets
On an exchange you bet against other players rather than against the platform. With a back bet you are betting for an outcome to happen; with a lay bet you are betting against it.
Decimal odds 2.00: Back Team A with ৳1,000 — if Team A wins, ৳1,000 profit before commission; if they do not win, you lose ৳1,000. Lay Team A (backer's stake ৳1,000) — your liability is ৳1,000 (৳1,000 × 1.00); if Team A does not win, ৳1,000 profit before commission; if they win, you pay ৳1,000.
Open and Settled Bets — Check Your History
Log in to ctg Bet and go to "My Bets" or "Bet History" to see a list of all your bets. Open bets appear in a separate tab; once a match ends they are settled automatically and moved to the "Settled" list.

Set Your Budget and Limits Before You Start Betting
Betting is a form of entertainment — not a substitute for regular income. Set a fixed weekly or monthly budget before you begin, one that you can afford to lose without affecting your daily life.
Deposit Limit
Set the maximum amount you will deposit per day or per week in advance. Once that limit is reached, no further deposits can be made.
Session Time Limit
Decide how long you will play in a single session. An automatic reminder appears when the set time is up.
Loss Limit
If your losses in a week or month exceed a set amount, your account can be temporarily restricted from betting.
Self-Exclusion
You can take a complete break for a set period if needed. Full details are in the responsible gaming guidelines.
